What is a Milestone Session?

These sessions are designed to capture those all important developmental milestones through the first year, for example, laughing for the first time, sitting unaided, crawling, standing, perhaps even walking.

Many families book a 'sitter session' for around 6 months old and then a 'first birthday session' for 11-12 months, but you can choose to capture as many of these big moments as you like.

What Should I expect from a Milestone Session?

We will plan the styling for your photo shoot at your Consultation Appointment, so on the day of the photo session, everything will be set up ready for your arrival at the studio.

Once your little one is settled in, we will work quite quickly to capture those perfect portraits of your baby and your family. 

As babies and young children can have short attention spans Jackie keeps 'Milestone' photo sessions short and sweet. The sessions last no more than an hour and take place in our beautiful studio in Hemingbrough, where we have everything we need to keep you and your baby comfortable.

CAN I BOOK A CAKE SMASH FOR MY BABY'S FIRST BIRTHDAY?

Of course! I mean, what's a birthday without cake?

Our Smash & Splash add-on is the perfect accessory to your baby's twelve month milestone session: a bespoke balloon arch backdrop, a birthday cake for your baby to smash, eat, and get messy with; then a little clean up in my cute tin bath and lots of splashing.

FOLLOWING YOUR SESSION

Your ordering appointment will be booked at the end of your photo session.

At your ordering appointment you will select your favourite images and choose how you want to display them from our range of beautiful, hand-crafted wall art pieces, prints and albums from the world's best suppliers.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

The milestone session fee is £150, which includes the consultation and planning appointment, 1 hour photoshoot and ordering appointment. The Smash and Splash add-on is £100.

All art products are purchased separately and begin at £150, with collections from £450, ready to hang wall art from £400 and albums from £1350.

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY APPOINTMENT?

Milestone sessions usually take place on a Saturday, and appointment slots do fill fast, so we recommend contacting the studio to reserve your appointment at least a month in advance.

DO YOU OFFER GIFT VOUCHERS?

Yes! A milestone photo session makes the perfect gift, perhaps as a Christmas, birthday, Mothers Day or Fathers Day present.

We also offer gift vouchers in any amount over £50 to be put towards any of our products or sessions.
