What is a Milestone PORTRAIT EXPERIENCE?

Our Milestone Portrait Experiences are designed to capture your baby's all-important developmental milestones through their first year, for example, laughing for the first time, sitting unaided, crawling, standing, perhaps even walking.

What Should I expect from a Milestone PORTRAIT EXPERIENCE?

FUN, FUN, FUN!

Milestone photoshoots always involve lots of silly noises, faces, singing, dancing and giggling - and that's just the grown ups!

Getting young babies to smile and look at the camera can be quite a challenge, so expect to get involved and get silly!

HOW DOES IT WORK?

We start with your DESIGN CONSULTATION, where Jackie will guide you through the process of styling your photoshoot to ensure that the portraits created truly reflect your family’s unique personality.

You will:

• Discuss themes and colour schemes, props and personal items, family interests and any special requests
• Use our custom-developed app to find the perfect colour scheme, choose your favourite props and outfits
• Browse our sample artwork to consider how you will display your portraits in your home.

On the day of your PHOTOSHOOT, everything will be set up ready for your arrival at the studio.

Once your little one is settled in, we will work swiftly to capture those perfect portraits of your baby and your family.

As babies and young children can have short attention spans Jackie keeps 'Milestone' photoshoots short and sweet. The sessions last no more than an hour and take place in our beautiful studio in Hemingbrough, where we have everything we need to keep you and your baby comfortable.

THE BIG REVEAL

Everyone's favourite part of the Portrait Experience is seeing the final images for the first time. Around three weeks after your photoshoot, you will return to the studio for your VIEWING AND ORDERING APPOINTMENT.

After seeing the slideshow of the finished images, you will select your favourites and how you want to display them from our beautiful hand-crafted wall art pieces, prints, and albums, all from the world's best suppliers.

And with our specialist design software you will even be able to preview how your chosen artwork will look in your home.

Your Viewing and Ordering appointment will be booked at the end of your photo session.

HOW OLD SHOULD MY BABY BE FOR A MILESTONE PORTRAIT EXPERIENCE?

Our Milestone Experiences are designed to capture your baby's all-important developmental milestones through their first year.

Clients typically book a milestone session around 6 months and follow it up with a 12 months session to celebrate their first birthday, but every baby is unique and will progress at their own pace; there is no set age required for their milestone session.

You can book a Milestone Portrait Experience to celebrate any important achievement throughout your baby's first year and beyond.

WHERE DOES THE MILESTONE PHOTO SHOOT TAKE PLACE?

All appointments take place in the comfort of our custom-built studio in the lovely village of Hemingbrough, where we have everything we need to keep you and your baby comfortable.

CAN WE HAVE A FAMILY PORTRAIT?

Of course! Your baby has changed a lot in the last few months - and as you have settled into your extended family life - so will you!

An updated Family Portrait is the perfect way to mark your family's growth.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

The Milestone Portrait Experience is £150 which includes the Design Consultation, Photoshoot, Post-processing and Image Rendering, Viewing and Ordering appointment.

CAN I BOOK A CAKE SMASH FOR MY BABY'S FIRST BIRTHDAY?

Of course! I mean, what's a birthday without cake?

Our Smash & Splash Portrait Experience is the perfect way to celebrate your baby's twelve month milestone!

An extra-special 'Milestone Experience' including a birthday cake for your baby to smash, eat, and get messy with; then a little clean up in my cute tin bath and lots of splashing.
