WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM A TEEN PORTRAIT EXPERIENCE?

Expect your teen to feel great!

One of Jackie's greatest passions is building confidence through photography. In today's society where we are surrounded by people telling us what we should wear, how we should look and what we should think, it is all too easy for someone to feel overwhelmed and not good enough.

Jackie's gentle encouragement and positive approach when working with clients is .... and the final images will WOW your teen!

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The first step is to arrange your DESIGN CONSULTATION to get to know each other and understand your teen's vision for their portraits.

Over plenty of tea and biscuits, Jackie will work with you and your teen/tween to plan a selection of portraits to capture their personality, hobbies and interests.

They will have fun getting creative to express themselves, getting a boost to their self-confidence.

Together we will:

• Discuss how to incorporate your teen's hobbies and interests into their portraits
• Choose a colour scheme to suit your teen's personal style
• Chat about what to wear (and what not to wear!)
• Address any nerves they may have about being photographed.

All of which means that on the day of the PHOTOSHOOT, you and your teen know that you are in safe hands and you can relax and enjoy yourself as Jackie guides them through everything just as planned.

The Final Images

Arguably everyone's favourite part of the Portrait Experience is seeing the final images for the first time!

Once Jackie has finished working her magic, you and your teen will return to the studio for your VIEWING AND ORDERING APPOINTMENT.

After viewing your slideshow of beautifully finished images, you will select your favourites and choose how you will display them from our beautiful hand-crafted wall art pieces, prints, and albums, all from the world's best suppliers.

And with our specialist design software you will even be able to preview how your chosen artwork will look in your own home.

Can we have a Family Portrait too?

Absolutely!

Although the Teen Portrait Experience is all about your teenager and their portraits, we encourage everyone to join in for a family portrait at the beginning of the photoshoot - these are the portraits that you (and they) will treasure forever!

WHAT IF MY TEEN IS SHY OR NERVOUS?

We get it! It can be quite intimidating or scary to stand in front of a camera, but we promise they will have fun!

The best approach is to book your obligation-free Design Consultation Appointment with Jackie and bring your teen along for a chat over tea and biscuits. If they decide at the end of the appointment that it is not for them, no problem - but we think they might just be tempted to give it a try once they see what we can create together!

On the day of the photoshoot, if you have a shy teen, we recommend limiting the number of family members who remain in the studio after family portraits are complete.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY HOBBIES AND INTERESTS?

As your child hits their teen and tween years, they are likely exploring many different interests as they learn more about who they are. They may be:

• an artist, musician, avid reader
• an athlete or sports fan
• a gamer, fashionista or cosplayer
• a scientist or explorer...

Whatever their interest, this is a great opportunity to capture your teen's individuality in a creative, bespoke portrait.

The Teen Portrait Experience session fee is £150, which includes:

• Design Consultation
• Photoshoot
• Post-processing and Image Rendering
• Viewing and Ordering Appointment.
