We are super excited to announce that this Halloween we will be opening the studio for some very special photos!

Stop by the studio for a lovely keepsake photo of your family in this year's party costumes in our beautiful pumpkin-inspired set, and of course there will be a treat or two for everyone!

Supporting Our Local Community

A portion of all sales from our Halloween Special will be donated to Hemingbrough Primary School.

No Tricks, Just Treats!

This year for our Autumn Mini Sessions, we will be creating a stunning Autumnal themed set in our studio for seasonal family portraits. Because we hate wasting such things, we will be adapting the set to offer something extra special exclusively for our local community...

Every year, on 31st October, lots of local families visit us in their exquisite costumes en route around the village. This year, we would love for you to pop into the studio on your way round for some professional portraits taken by Jackie as a beautiful memento of your family's 2025 Halloween fun, raise money for our local school, and, of course, there will be treats for everyone!

When will the photoshoots take place?

We will be open for your Halloween Portraits on Friday 31st October 2025 between:

11am-3:00pm for Pre-booked Private Appointments
and
4pm-6pm for Drop-ins.

Private Appointments

It is likely to get quite busy during the evening session, so if you want to avoid queues, or if your children would prefer a quieter time, or if you have a larger family group (more than 3 people), please Pre-book a Private Appointment for earlier in the day between 11am and 3:00pm.

Private Appointments are limited in number and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Evening Drop In Sessions

If you don't need a private appointment, the studio will be open for Drop Ins between 4pm and 6pm, and people will be served in the order of arrival.

While pre-booking for drop-ins is not essential, we kindly ask that you Register in Advance using the REGISTER NOW form, so we have an idea of numbers. This will also save you time on the night completing contact forms.

As a thank you for registering in advance, you will receive a FREE Gift when you register! ;-)

NOTE: Priority for Drop-Ins will be given to those who have registered and paid in advance.

How much is it?

The session fee is £10 per family group and includes:

• Up to 5 minute photoshoot
• One 8"x6" print
• Donation to Hemingbrough Primary School
• Online gallery

Your images will be uploaded to a private online gallery and details sent to you via email the following day for you to choose your free print and purchase additional prints and digital images.

Will it be scary for young children?

Although this is taking place on Halloween, our set will be styled with pumpkins and Autumn colours to form a beautiful and non-scary backdrop for your portraits.

If you have any concerns about your children being nervous for their portraits, you can pre-book a private appointment slot for earlier in the day so you will have a little more time for them to settle for the photos without other families waiting.

What is the maximum group size for photos?

Due to space restrictions, there will be a maximum limit of 3 children per drop-in session, (or 1 parent with up to 2 small children).

If you have a larger family group, please book a Private Appointment earlier in the day where we will have a little more time and can make some extra space if needed.

Where will the photoshoots take place?

Photoshoots will take place in our studio right here in the village at the Babies By Jackie studio on Main Street!

On such an exciting day, it is easy for giddy children to trip or be distracted from watching where they are going. We would hate for anyone's Halloween to be spoiled by an accident.

Whilst we will take precaution to avoid or signpost potential hazards within the studio, we kindly request parents/guardians assist by adhering to the following safety precautions during the event:

• Please supervise all young children as they enter and exit the photo shoot area - particularly if they are wearing masks or visibility is restricted by costumes!
  
  
• There is a big step at the entrance/exit of the studio - please hold your child's hands to help them over the threshold.
  
  
• You may need to guide your children to avoid the expensive photography equipment and semi-fragile decorations around the studio and in the set for the photos.
  
  
• No naked flames, including inside pumpkins/turnips, will be permitted inside the studio.
  
  
• Only members of the family group currently being photographed may enter the studio. Do not allow members of your party to enter the studio until it is your turn.
  
  

We reserve the right to request any disruptive or overexcited participants to leave the studio at our sole discretion without refund.

Session fee payment must be received prior to any photographs being taken.

Session fees are non-refundable.
