BLOG

Autumn is such a beautiful time of year to be expecting a baby!  You don’t have to worry about the heat of summer but the weather is still mild enough to be able to get out and about with your new arrival.  You also have the added bonus that your baby will be more aware of their surroundings and the activities that will be going on over the winter.  You can look forward to their first Christmas in just a few short weeks!

As a photographer, I love September and October.  The light is always beautiful and the colours of nature turn the blandest landscape into a work of art.  It’s no wonder that Autumn inspires so many artists, poets and creatives isn’t it?

It’s also little wonder that so many parents choose autumnal-themed names for their babies born in the most beautiful season of the year.  There are probably more Autumnal names than any other season of the year!  If your baby is due in the next few weeks you might still be struggling to decide on a name – it’s after all one of the most important decisions you’ll make for your child!

I’ve pulled together this list of wonderful Autumn themed names that might inspire you!  Lots of these names are inspired by nature, transformation, the changing of the seasons or the colours of Autumn.

If you know someone due an Autumn baby, make sure to share this list with them too!
